Keep Fresh Buys Look'n Just Bought! Just got a bunch of new cotton T's & tops? Use this tip to keep the original color locked in for at least a year (if you wear and wash weekly, else it will last longer). Before first wash, soak (separately) in 1/2 cup of vinegar with 1 gallon of cold water for 15 minutes. Always wash in cold water afterward. I personally use this tip a lot... nothing worse than washing a brand new top and having it look 5 years old because it faded (unless that's the look you're after)! Helps with dark/black colored jeans too.
